Town of Jackson, Wyoming. Salary: Associate - $55K - $80K, Senior $65K- $90K, DOQ. The Town of Jackson is seeking a highly qualified, motivated individual who is interested in making a difference in their community and working on a dynamic engineering team.
This is a responsible staff position with assignments in permit reviews for private property land development, grading permit reviews, and right-of-way encroachments; public noticing related to private development and capital projects; responding to customer requests for information; bidding and managing capital infrastructure construction contracts; maintaining Town infrastructure GIS maps; conducting inspections for the above activities; utilizing and updating standard processes, forms, legal agreements, and design components; and related work as assigned.
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge is qualifying. Typical qualifications are equivalent to: a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, plus for Associate – minimum 1 year experience, for Senior - registered PE, a minimum of 4 years of experience as a PE in work related to land development and/or construction with 2 of those years preferably in the public sector, and experience with project management. The ideal candidate will be motivated, have a PE, and experience working in municipal government. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, computer experience, and must be values centered.
