As a Waterfront Structural Engineer, you will work alongside company leaders to provide leading-edge solutions to our clients – across the U.S. – while assisting the coastal, environmental, and water resources teams led by our professional engineers. The principal function of this position is to provide a leadership role for a team developing structural waterfront designs, successfully manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and oversee construction administration.
This position requires knowledge of structural engineering in the marine environment and the ability to effectively manage waterfront projects in the following areas of expertise.
Dredging and dredged material management systems
Deep-water ports structures
Hydraulic control and drainage structures

Do you meet these requirements?
Education: Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering with a structural focus; Master of Science in Coastal Engineering preferred
Experience in structural engineering with marine structures, dredging design and planning, regulatory permitting in the State of Florida, and construction administration
Registration: Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license
Skills: Exceptional project management and oral and written English communication skills
Able to work in or relocate to Destin, Jacksonville, Sarasota, Tampa, or West Palm Beach
Additional experience in these areas is desirable:
Proven ability to motivate, initiate, and innovate
Capability and interest in marketing and business development
Construction observation experience specific to waterfront structures
Preparation design calculations, drawings, technical specifications, and technical reports
Community involvement in engineering-based societies or organizations
