There are several immediate and near-term openings for the following levels: Staff Civil Engineer with a minimum 2 years of experience; Project Civil Engineer or Geotechnical Engineer with a P.E. and a minimum 5 years of experience; or Senior Civil Engineer or Geotechnical Engineer with a P.E. and a minimum 8 years of experience in engineering. Experience is preferred in one or more of the following fields: civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, hydrology, hydraulics, structural engineering, and construction engineering. Projects would include the design, evaluation, inspection, construction and rehabilitation of dams, levees and other water, flood control and wastewater facilities in the United States, including earth, rockfill, concrete and roller compacted concrete (RCC) structures, levees, pipelines, channels, hydraulic structures, spillways, reservoir outlet works, pump stations, and coastal projects such as breakwaters and jetties. Geotechnical Engineer should have hands-on experience in the evaluation of dams and Civil Engineer must have hands-on experience in performing hydraulic analysis and modeling and be proficient in the use of relevant computer software including HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and GIS. A Master's Degree or higher is preferred for both positions, but a lesser degree will be considered based on experience. Requirements also include strong computer skills, good communications and writing skills, and evidence of success in working well with other staff and clients as part of a responsive, technical and professional team.
