Consultant project managers (CPM) are responsible for:
Directing all activities necessary in the development of outsourced transportation projects.
Administering contracts for design and/or construction of highly complex highways.
Managing consultant engineering teams - ensuring design packages are delivered on schedule and within budget.
Identifying and managing project risk and ensuring project standards are met.
Using change management processes to obtain commitments, resolutions, and agreements on critical project issues.
CPMs function as organizational experts in project scoping, consultant selection, management of construction, contract interpretation, and claims management.
We are hiring for positions that could be located in downtown Portland, east Portland, Troutdale, Beaverton, Salem, Corvallis, White City, The Dalles, Bend, Springfield, Pendleton, Ontario, and LaGrande. Minimum Qualifications: A valid professional engineer's (PE) license in civil, structural, or transportation-related engineering and three (3) years of journey level professional engineer experience.
Note: If registered in another state, successful applicants will be required to obtain comity within six months of hire.
Special Qualifications: Driving is an essential function of this position. A valid driver license and an acceptable driving record are required for this position. We will conduct pre-employment driving records checks on our final candidate(s).

Experience managing multiple transportation projects from preliminary design through construction.
